The pavement gallery proposal was made in response to a public art competition held as part of the Kings Cross Regeneration programme. Sarah was part of the On-route team who made the  proposal, following which they were commissioned to develop a prototype display case for a local estate.  The project was intended to provide the opportunity for a community curated gallery, which would feature the work of local school children, residents and artists. The development of the prototype involved consultation with key stake holders including the Kings Cross Partnership, local resident committees and  representatives of the culturally diverse community.  The project was eventually implemented at UCH as part of it's public arts programme following further collaboration with local artist and resident David Proud.
